If you have been following me on Instagram then you would surely know my love for Avocados and #AvocadoToasts. So, my first blog had to be about that!
When I think of the perfect Avocado Toast I have had, the first place comes to my mind is Two hands in New York City. A place run by Australians and food inspired from the land down under.
So here I’m, bringing you the round up for my top places for avocado toast which I have tried so far in Mumbai. The aspects which really effected my decision was the quality of the bread, quantity of avocado and options to customize it.
1. The Kitchen Garden, Bandra Kurla Complex
#KitchenGarden is known for its fresh ingredients and their #Avocado Toast. What makes this place at the top of my list is their Sourdough Bread which is baked fresh every day. Toasted to perfection with some basil pesto and sliced pieces of avocado. Do go ahead and add feta cheese on top of it for that perfect Avocado Toast.
2. The Clearing House, Ballard Estate
Next up is from The Clearing House situated in #BallardEstate.
I went here for their special Sunday
Brunch Menu and brunch is never complete with some Avocado toast and Mimosas. The Avocado toast here is on Sorghum Toast with goat cheese, cherry tomatoes, salsa verde and truffle poached egg which is optional. It should definitely be on your list to
try.
3. The Sassy Spoon, Nariman Point
One of my go-to places when in doubt for food is #TheSassySpoon at Nariman Point. This place has never disappointed me with the quality of food and hospitality. I had to try the Avocado Toasties when I went here for brunch. These Avocado toasties comes with their own whole wheat bread topped with guacamole and some goat cheese.
4. 145 Kala Ghoda, Kala Ghoda
This might not be the best-looking Avocado Toast but definitely
delicious. You can customise it as per your preference from sundried tomatoes and feta or Ricotta and Burrata or Maple Siracha Bacon as your preferred toppings.
5. Ministry of Salads, Breach Candy
My absolute favourite place to get fix for healthy and delicious salad but also for their open sandwiches. I love the Avocado Cream Cheese with jalapeños, beetroot shavings, rocket leaves and flax seeds.
